Advertising Policy

HyperbaricMed.Com, which we call “HyperbaricMed” in this Policy, accepts advertisements from third parties referred to as “Advertisers”. Advertisements may include content, banners, pictures, badges, text paragraphs, or other types of media, referred to as “Advertising” or “Advertisements”, created or provided by an Advertiser. In addition, as used in this Policy, “Advertisements” and “Advertising” may contain content provided for or on behalf of Advertisers. The Advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and objectivity of its Ads.
HyperbaricMed manages various aspects of Advertising for users and healthcare professionals in HyperbaricMed. HyperbaricMed manages issues such as acceptance of Ads by HyperbaricMed, display of Ads on HyperbaricMed and removal of Ads from HyperbaricMed. HyperbaricMed has sole and absolute discretion in the interpretation, implementation of this policy and all other matters related to Advertising in HyperbaricMed. HyperbaricMed may change this policy at any time in its sole discretion and post the current revised policy on HyperbaricMed.
HyperbaricMed has the sole discretion to determine the types of Ads that will be accepted and displayed on HyperbaricMed. HyperbaricMed will not knowingly accept Ads that, in its opinion, it does not find truthful and pleasurable. There are certain categories of Ads that HyperbaricMed will never knowingly allow on HyperbaricMed. These categories include but are not limited to:
– Illegal, dangerous, objectionable products,
– Fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or offensive material,
– Unreasonable, improbable or extraordinary product or service claims,
– Media or messages containing unproven and exaggerated treatment claims,
– Material that discriminates or attacks on age, national origin, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability,
– Material that misrepresents or mocks a person or group,
– Media or messages containing political content and campaigns,
– Weapons, firearms, ammunition or fireworks,
– Games, media or messages with adult content,
– Pornography or related themes,
– Gambling and gambling related games
– Drugs and drug abuse,
– All kinds of tobacco use,
– Alcohol.
HyperbaricMed recognizes and protects the difference between Advertising and HyperbaricMed’s editorial content. All Ads on HyperbaricMed will be clearly defined. HyperbaricMed does not allow the publication of an Ad in HyperbaricMed that does not indicate that it was provided by a particular Advertiser or made on behalf of the Advertiser. Clicking on an ad connects the end user to the relevant sponsored content area on the HyperbaricMed website or to the Advertiser’s site.
HyperbaricMed reserves the exclusive right to determine how Ads are displayed on HyperbaricMed. HyperbaricMed reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decide at any time whether HyperbaricMed will accept, reject, cancel or remove the Ad. HyperbaricMed cannot make any guarantee that Ads on HyperbaricMed will run error-free on all platforms.
It is the Advertiser’s responsibility to comply with all applicable domestic and foreign laws and regulations, such as including all legally required legends, disclosures and statements in Ads on HyperbaricMed. HyperbaricMed reserves the right to review all Ads for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. However, HyperbaricMed is not obliged to monitor the compliance of Ads to be published on HyperbaricMed with such laws and regulations. However, HyperbaricMed may remove this Ad from HyperbaricMed if HyperbaricMed becomes aware of any violation or potential violation of any applicable law, regulation, or this policy.
No Ad in HyperbaricMed will contain any information collection software code or place any information gathering software code on devices in the browsers of HyperbaricMed users unless expressly approved in writing by HyperbaricMed. If HyperbaricMed approves in writing the inclusion of any information collection software code in an advertisement, unless that consent contains an express exception;
– The advertiser cannot use any information collection software code to collect any personally-identifiable information for the HyperbaricMed user,
– Any cookie or information collection software code placed on HyperbaricMed must be in a form that can be blocked by the user and can be deleted with the user browser settings.
